REPAIRING EXTERIOR JOINERY
When undertaking exterior decoration often the woodwork may have suffered from water damage as the paint or stains fail. This in most cases will lead to wet rot which would either need to be cut out and replaced by hiring the services of a carpenter or repaired by the decorator. I am fully trained in the resin Repair Care system. The system is a far superior alternative to the conventional two part wood filling option; also it works very well in conjunction with splicing in new timber as it strengthens joints where traditionally they might fail. Once complete the repairs would be bought forward using an exterior grade primer or stain.
